LA TRINIDAD ENGAGES IN Q2 NATIONWIDE EARTHQUAKE DRILL

Officials, employees, student interns, and clients of the local government unit of La Trinidad participated in the second quarter Nationwide Earthquake Drill, this morning, June 18.

Mayor Roderick Awingan supervised the emergency drill to guarantee maximum safety across all operations.

Safety officers performed headcounts and ensured lifesaving protocols are executed correctly, while coordinating with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

Aimed to increase preparedness and prevent injuries and casualties, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council through the Office of Civil Defense spearheads the quarterly drill.
