LA TRINIDAD EYES TOURISM BOOST THROUGH TRANSPORT COLLAB

In a meeting today, February 5, Mayor Roderick Awingan, with Sandy Sanoy of Highlanders Taxi and Tourism Transport Services and Norbert Catayoc of Benguet Movers, convened to utilize the valley’s transportation services to boost tourism initiatives.

The dialogue centered on ensuring travel to local tourist attractions is more accessible and convenient to the public.

It also prioritizes capacitating drivers with vital competencies, particularly in undergoing the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training, a Department of Tourism program designed to equip drivers with hospitality skills.

Mayor Awingan deemed the proposal a favorable step forward in attaining the town’s tourism goals.
