LA TRINIDAD NAMED BEST LGU AT 2026 PNP DAY. The municipal government of La Trinidad was recognized as the Best LGU at the municipal level during the Philippine National Police (PNP) Day held at Camp Crame, Quezon City, earlier this morning, January 29, 2026.

Mayor Roderick Awingan and LT Police Chief Zacarias Dausen formally accepted the award from Executive Secretary Ralph Recto and PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

The award represents the municipality’s wholehearted support for the PNP's proactive initiative to ensure the safety and protection of the people of La Trinidad.
