LA TRINIDAD TRAINS COOPERATIVE OFFICERS ON FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES AND OPERATIONS

𝘈 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘣 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘔𝘊𝘋𝘚𝘖, 𝘉𝘗𝘊𝘜

53 LT co-op officers from medium and large cooperatives of La Trinidad undergo a 2-day training on Fundamentals of Cooperative. The activity specifically aims to understand cooperative principles and its basic operations. Henson Eyeg one of the pool of trainers of BPCU key topics were

a.) key topics on the fundamentals of cooperatives,

b.) roles and responsibilities of officers and;

c.) the importance of effective cooperative management.

The activity also included participant presentations and real situation examples to reinforce their understanding of the topics.

Municipal Administrator Atty. Franco G. Bawang Jr. attended the activity and delivered a message on behalf of the Mayor. "While the fundamentals of cooperatives are often forgotten, they remain essential to the proper operation of a cooperatives", he said.

Hon. Horacio Ramos Jr. was also present to show his support for the activity. In his message, he highlighted the importance of continuous education for co-op officers as one of the key factor in cooperative success. initiatives in equipping cooperative officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage their organizations effectively.
