LECTURE ON GAD WITHOUT SNEAKERS

Determined to mainstream Gender and Development (GAD) in the LGU of the valley, the technical working group of LT’s GAD Focal Point System held today a training on gender sensitive policy formulation and the use of Social Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) instead of the normal IEC.

Lawyer Delmar Carino, executive assistant, gave a demonstration on how to use TED Talks in GAD advocacy. Carino gave his talk without his rubber shoes to keep the participants curious as he segued to the gender issue brought about by the Forgiveness Clause of our current law on rape.
