LGU LA TRINIDAD TURNS PURPLE FOR WOMEN’S MONTH

The local government unit of La Trinidad turned into a sea of purple as municipal employees and interns donned violet-colored garments today, March 11, as part of #PurpleWednesdays2026, in celebration of Women’s Month.

Centered on the theme, “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society”, this year features the “Babylan”, pre-colonial spiritual leaders who served as healers, midwives, seers, and community advisors.

Historically tied to justice and dignity, purple is the official color for International Women’s Day and Women’s Month.
