Community members, municipal officials, and employees gathered for the ‘plalking’ (picking up litter while walking) and tree caring activities earlier today, January 31, at the Puguis Communal Forest.
The group was divided into two, one starting from the Puguis Japanese Trail, and the other beginning at the Longlong Police Outpost, both leading to the Communal Forest.
Following this, Rev. Patricio Lawaguey led a closing Bible devotion.
Mayor Roderick Awingan reaffirmed the municipal government’s support for the event, stating that the administration aims to further strengthen the annual Bible Week celebration in the valley.
The local government of La Trinidad wholeheartedly extends its gratitude and appreciation to all participants and organizing committees for a successfully implemented program.
