MAYOR: NEVER STOP LEARNING, HELP YOUR PEERS, SUCCEED TOGETHER

Mayor Roderick Awingan encouraged the student leaders from the different barangays of the municipality during the one day youth symposium with the theme, "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations" on September 1 at Pitaco Cafe, Pico.

Awingan urged the youth to continue their quest in learning while also encouraging their fellow youth to pursue their studies until they graduate, and pursue their vocation while being a responsible member of the community.

"What I see is not you but what I see is the future of our municipality and the new generation that would provide the necessary change in our town," Awingan said.

The Local Youth Development Services under the Municipal Mayor's Office successfully staged the one day activity in celebration of the Linggo Ng Kabataan.

Also in photo with the participants were Local Youth Development Officer designate Orlando Pacya and Local Youth Development Officer I Ricky Marcelo and the activity's speakers Municipal Health Officer Dr. Antonette Agpas, Internal Audit Section Head Lorena Santiago, and Aldrin Taccayan, CEO of Inv8 Studio/Cyber Warriors.
