MENRO COMMENDED FOR TOP PERFORMANCE IN BANTAY BASURA INITIATIVE

Earlier today, April 13, the local government, through its Sangguniang Bayan, awarded a resolution commending the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) under the leadership of Arthur Pedro, for La Trinidad’s award as an Outstanding LGU in CAR on Solid Waste Management.
The Environmental Management Bureau-Central Office recognized the town for its Best Practices of the Bantay Basura Program during the 25th Anniversary Celebration of RA 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 held in Cubao, Quezon City on January 27, 2026.
Mayor Roderick Awingan, Vice Mayor Guiller Galwan, and the Sangguniang Bayan members congratulated the team and its volunteers for their dedication to easing the municipality's garbage woes.
