MUNICIPAL SCHOLARS SEAL AGREEMENT WITH LGU
The municipal government officially welcomed a new batch of grantees under the Educational Assistance Program for Deserving Academic and Technical-Vocational Students (EAPDATS) on September 2 at Lednicky Hall.
Mayor Roderick Awingan, alongside Councilors Nestor Fongwan Jr., Teddy Walang, and Richard Wacnisen, met with the 28 college students together with their parents for an orientation and memorandum signing.
Each scholar will receive ₱10,000 per semester until graduation, provided they maintain the required general average as stated in Municipal Ordinance No. 23-2015.
Cristina Aban, a Civil Society Organization (CSO) representative from Iyaman Inc. expressed her appreciation of the administration’s fair and transparent screening process.
