In a bid to help local Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) reach their full potential, 30 sari-sari store owners and rice dealers received inventory replenishment supplies from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on August 19.

Alongside the turnover of goods, Rashid Albert Fatog from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - Baguio Benguet led a seminar on Business Continuity Planning to build MSME resilience among beneficiaries.

NGCP representative Joshua Lorraine Fajardo explained that the program is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, underscoring that the starter packages serve as tools to support local livelihood.

Advocating for small businesses, both Mayor Roderick Awingan and Vice Mayor Guiller Galwan, expressed their gratitude to NGCP and encouraged recipients to make the most of the assistance provided.

Selected beneficiaries were from barangays Ambiong, Puguis, Beckel, Bineng and Alapang.
