PARTNERSHIP FOR PEOPLE-CENTERED PLANNING

The Commission on Population and Development-Cordillera led by Director Reynaldo Wong and the municipal government of La Trinidad led by Mayor Roderick Awingan signed a memorandum of understanding for a partnership on Population Development Localization and Institutionalization on July 27.

The MOU aims to establish a collaborative mechanism and arrangements between the parties for developing and pursuing population and development strategies that would optimize demographic opportunities and address prevailing population issues to accelerate local socioeconomic development.

Also present during the MOU signing were Councilor Tyrone Diaz, head of the Committee on Laws, Rules & Regulations of the Sangguniang Bayan and Municipal PopDev Officer Lourdes Taguiba.
