PRE-DISASTER RISK ASSESSMENT FOR ST ROSAL

The municipality earlier held its Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) in anticipation for Super Typhoon Rosal or with the international name Champi, as led by Mayor Roderick Awingan on Oct. 19. The PDRA gathered all department heads to be ready this week towards the weekend, as PAG-ASA forecasts that its track will be at the Northern Luzon area.
PAG-ASA announced as of 2:00 p.m. today, Super Typhoon Rosal is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Aside from this, the meeting also tackled updates on the various department's readiness programs for the El Niño. The department heads were also joined by the Indigenous Cultural Community Officials for a Day (ICCOFAD) as observers during the meeting.
