Roadside Beautification Activities

The Municipality of La Trinidad, through its Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) and the LT Tourism Office, is spearheading its Roadside Beautification activities in partnership with volunteers, LT Binnadang partners, and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). The initiative aims to showcase a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful La Trinidad, one spot at a time.

Barangays, schools, non-government organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations (CSOs), and all residents are encouraged to take part in this collective effort. More than beautification, this is a call to revive the spirit of "Dugad mo, shalosim"---the enduring tradition that every resident of La Trinidad takes responsibility for keeping his or her surroundings clean and orderly.

Mayor Roderick C. Awingan reiterated his call for stronger partnerships and shared responsibility in preserving the municipality's cleanliness and beauty. He emphasized that building a better La Trinidad is not the work of government alone, but a commitment that must be embraced by every sector of the community.
