The Local Government Unit (LGU) of La Trinidad deployed multiple departments today to manage several events across the municipality. Joint teams from the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station (LTMPS), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Municipal Health Services Office (MHSO), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) - La Trinidad Fire Station, and Barangays Puguis and Wangal provided security and medical support for the Pinecone Peloton Race for Trees. Simultaneously, the majority of the police force is managing the oathtaking of nearly 5,000 new teachers at the Benguet Sports Complex.
At the municipal grounds, staff from the General Services Office (GSO), Public Order and Safety Team (POST), and the Mayor’s Office are preparing for tomorrow’s main program of the Bible Week celebration. Mayor Roderick Awingan conducted rounds today to monitor these operations and oversee the welfare of the deployed teams. He extended his sincere gratitude to all LGU personnel for their dedication, emphasizing that their commitment to providing essential services on a weekend ensures the safety and success of these community activities.
