SURPRISE MANDATORY DRUG TEST

A total of 540 out of 700 job order, casual, coterminous, and regular LGU employees, along with officials underwent a surprise mandatory drug test on June 25, at the Senior Citizens’ Building.

In collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Mayor Roderick Awingan explained that the program aims to uphold workplace safety and prevent illegal substance abuse while complying with PDEA’s Drug-Free Workplace Policy.

According to the office memorandum issued at 8AM yesterday, those unable to be tested must submit a written explanation to the mayor.
