TRADING POST INSPECTION
Mayor Roderick C. Awingan, together with local media representatives, visited the ongoing road improvement project at the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post earlier today.
During the visit, the mayor also checked on the situation of vegetable stakeholders and reminded them once again to support locally grown produce to discourage the entry of imported vegetables into the trading post.
The mayor earlier signed Executive Order No. 162 s. 2026 prohibiting the entry, handling, and storage of smuggled vegetables within the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post (LTVTP) and public markets in response to the entry of imported broccoli shipment in La Trinidad and nearby public markets.
